Today has been the final day of a trip I'll remember for a long time. After breakfast I went for an easy 30km ride along the end of the bike course. I actually managed a 20km ride yesterday the day after the race! I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to experience South Africa and meet some wonderful people. It's a shame I'm not staying for longer as I'd love to visit some other places, but perhaps next time.
The bike and suitcase are packed and I'm ready to return home. Earlier today a few of us went to a nearby game park to see some of the local wildlife. It was a great day and here are some pictures below - enjoy!
