I'm now 8 weeks into the training schedule with the new coach, with progress coming along nicely. It seems like a long time since the last race in Mauritius, and I'm itching to compete again! Plans for the early part of the season have changed somewhat, meaning that I will not be racing at Ironman South Africa in April. With the change of plans comes the opportunity to compete in the Winchester Triathlon on 18th April and the New Forest Triathlon on 2nd May. These are two local events that I have competed in before, and I look forward to racing against a few familiar faces. Last year I finished 2nd at the Winchester Triathlon, so I will be returning this year hoping to go one better.
