24 Hours To Go

Today was registration for tomorrow's race - One Last Tri, held in the New Forest, UK.  After picking up my bag (which included my race number, timing chip, swim cap, magazine and some energy gels) I attended the race briefing.  This was to outline the rules and regulations for the race.  After the briefing I went down to the lake to rack my bike.

The Felt, race ready!

Ellingham lake, where hundreds of people will be thrashing around at 7:30am tomorrow morning!  The swim will be one clockwise loop of the lake, approximately 1300m.

Moody looking skies.

The weather forecast says it should be dry tomorrow, although a little chilly.  Not much else to do now apart from relax and keep my feet up.  Here's hoping for a good night's sleep - I'll be waking up at 3:30am!

  1. Enjoy the day and all the best I guess a good time for you will be 4:30 and under being just under the 70.3 distance. Splash and dash in the swim, tuck up and drive the bike and bring it home on the quick run. Simon Brierley
